You don’t find a Miura for sale on eBay every day, especially a celebrity-owned one like this here sample that was once driven by Rod Stewart.
For you youngsters out there, that’s like saying your girlfriend’s ex used to be Johnny Depp, and you instantly know those are some pretty big shoes to fill in, buddy.
Fortunately, this Miura was owned by Rod Stewart a long, long time ago. So long, in fact, that the car had three previous owners besides the music star. So, if you can get past the fact it dated a rock star and some other rich dudes, you can buy it for just…£1.25 million or about $1.9 million.
It’s worth it, believe us. The car is in a pristine condition (those owners took care of it), and it only has 28,731 miles on the clock. Wait, it gets better; originally, the car left the factory in P400S specification. That meant the 4-litre V12 developed 370bhp, but that’s clearly not enough for a 44 year old Lamborghini. So guess what? The previous owner rebuilt and modified it to SV spec. Now, the car boasts 383 bhp, has a limited slip differential, a completely revised suspension and a rear track widened by five inches, to accommodate wider wheels.
Furthermore, many mechanical components were restored to “concours” condition. That means they are so clean, you can basically eat off them. The conversion to SV spec and other refurbishments, like the refinished Blu Notte original color, had cost approximately £100,000 or $152,000.
So, is this beautiful Miura worth the £1.25 million price tag?
