If you’re on the lookout for an E46 BMW M3 with the correct transmission, as in a three-pedal 6-speed manual (…no SMG), here’s a new find that’s worth investigating.
It’s a one-owner, 2002 BMW M3 with just 28,200 miles or 45,373 km, with the exterior finished in Titansilber Metallic and the interior in red “Imolarot” leather.
From the pictures, it seems that the M3 is stock aside from the “Pioneer AVIC-Z1 navigation/entertainment system with aftermarket subwoofers in trunk”. I’d probably revert back to the factory audio or navigation system and add a set of CSL-style / ZCP style wheels.
Carfax says it hasn’t been in an accident, while the owner stated that it has been “maintained meticulously”, but just to be on the safe side, you’d have to validate both claims with a pre-purchase inspection.
The best part about this M3 is the asking price of $20,000, which is a pretty good deal if the car comes out clean, without any problems. If you’re interested, it’s located in Freehold, New Jersey, and you can find out more over at Autotrader.
