Here’s something you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley! This scary-looking G63 AMG has been given the Prindiville Design treatment and we couldn’t be happier to see it.
Of course, when we say scary, we mean that in a good way. This car has everything going for it, from the iconic design, to its monster V8 and now the handiwork of Prindiville’s coachbuilding division – it’s a winner already.
What jumps out immediately is the 30-piece body kit, handcrafted in military-grade large weave carbon fiber, where buyers will get the option of having it in matte or a lacquered finish, plus a choice of different color-ways, weaves and patterns.
As you can see, the carbon fiber elements are everywhere from the re-engineered front and rear bumpers, new front grille, headlight surrounds, wheel arches (widened), custom hood, side skirts, taillight surrounds, plus door handles, rubbing strips, door mirrors, induction vents and spare wheel cover.
And as if that wasn’t enough, you also get a set of 6-spoke Prindiville Design alloys with modified brake discs and calipers to handle the extra 50 HP – that’s right, because why settle for 544 HP when you can have roughly 600HP?
The extra horses came via a remapped ECU and a Prindiville sports exhaust system. They also re-calibrated the automatic gearbox’s software in order for it to better cope with the bump in power. But no worries, if you want even more muscle, Prindiville will accommodate you – as long as you’ve got the budget for it.
Inside the cabin you’ll find high quality leather and Alcantara, but naturally customers will be able to insert their personal preferences into the mix, as they’ll be able to choose from a wide range of optional upholstery finishes and colors to go with the available wood, carbon and metal materials.
If you’re fine with the way this particular car looks, know that these Gs are available in limited numbers, each with a hefty price tag of £250,000.
Yes, that’s about £120,000 more than what you would spend on a stock G63 AMG Merc.
