Even though you’ve barely had time to digest the all-new Renault Kwid, you had to have known that a Dacia rendering was in the works, so here it is!
The Kwid could take India by storm (where it will be launched in the 2nd half of the year) thanks to its utilitarian design and its $4,700 price tag.
We can assume that the Kwid will also make it onto other markets as both a Renault and a Dacia. Though if Renault plans to launch the Kwid as a Dacia in Romania, they’ll probably have to do something about the name.
As for its exterior, it feels like we’re looking at shrunken Sandero Stepway, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since these types of vehicles have become more and more popular lately.
It’s quite possible for a small city crossover to be successful in several markets at the same time – even in Eastern Europe. Size-wise, the Kwid is considerably shorter and definitely not as wide as the Sandero Stepway, which means you should be able to maneuver it easily in heavy traffic and park it in really tight spaces.
As always, Theophilus Chin does a great job turning one car into another. A real-life final product should pretty much look just like this rendering.
So how do you guys feel about it?
