As far as motor racing legends that are still among us, the name Stirling Moss is one of if not the most resonant. Therefor, the fact that he drives a Twizy EV and he agreed to promote it for Renault should be meaningful.

His Twizy is not the typical white, but other than that it seems stock. It apparently suits his daily transportation needs very well, although he did complain about it not having enough power – he should take a look at this one, then, and maybe pull some strings to have his done up in a similar fashion…

Or is this Renault’s way of announcing that a faster Twizy is planned?

Autocar states the fact that this is an “advertising promotion” outright, but really it doesn’t matter what they call it as it’s actually fun to watch and well worth the time.

It also shows Renault is trying really hard, with very credible advertising to attract more people towards buying a Twizy. What this particular ad is saying is “if Stirling Moss likes it and finds it useful, then you ought to as well…”
