Oh snap! Could you say “Yes Please” quick enough if anyone ever asked if you’d be interested in owning this car? We think not.
We’re used to seeing a Porsche or a McLaren when it comes to these types of photoshoots (we mean the custom wheels type). Heck, even a modern day muscle car from time to time. But something like this? A 1962 custom Corvette? Classic American muscle? And riding on a set of HRE 101 wheels? Holy smokes, Batman!
This is one of the all-time most beautiful classics you’ll ever lay eyes on – as far as we’re concerned at least. Even though maybe your idea of a classic is the 80’s ‘Knight Rider’ Trans Am, who knows?
The thing about a Corvette is, people have forgotten where it came from. Back in the day (way way back) it was one of the most stunning sports cars money could buy. It was as true in the 50’s as it was in the 60’s and 70’s with those mean-looking Stingrays.
The 80’s were its downfall. In fact, many say that it was 1984 when the Corvette as we knew it died and the C4 was, unfortunately, born. The 90’s were equally unkind with the ever-boring looking C5 (the fifth generation) and so on until the C6 arrived in 2005.
Now, the Corvette is once again striking to look at, just like this 1962 model was back in the day – and still is!
Even though we’re aware not all car enthusiasts aren’t appreciative of classic American muscle in terms of looks, we’re willing to bet that even they would make an exception for this car right here.
