Well, to be honest, there isn’t much Corvette left even though the car has some of the original body panels, except the front end which is a big piece covering the humongous modified engine.
Speaking of which, the engine has a C Rotor Screw Blower Supercharger, the daddy of all superchargers with rotary screw compressor technology, which helps keep things cool inside, uses very little horsepower to spin and produces 476 cubic inches of air per revolution.
That’s enough propel this Outlaw 10.5 Corvette through the 1/4 mile in just a little over 4 seconds. Don’t forget, it has 3,500 bhp.
In case you don’t know what an Outlaw 10.5 car is, let me explain. For a car to become an Outlaw, it has to conform to five basic criteria: – stock firewall; – stock style front suspension; – mufflers; – all in a 3000-pound weight limit, ride on 10.5-inch rear slicks. Other than that, you can use any powertrain combo.
