Toyota is adding one more trim level to the UK range of the Verso MPV, the Trend Plus.
The Trend Plus edition offers a rear seat DVD entertainment system, with dual monitors integrated on the seat backs, as standard as well as a pair of wireless headsets. The system is capable of independent DVD playback and also compatible for computer-gaming applications. Toyota offers a set of powered iPad holders as an option too.
Other features for the Trend Plus include leather upholstery while the Icon, Trend and Excel models now benefit from the Touch 2 connectivity system with satellite navigation and a reversing camera offered as standard.
The Trend model now features new 17-inch wheels, front parking sensors, dual-zone climate system and rear privacy glass while the Icon models have a newly designed set of seven-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels and a new Tidal Blue metallic paint option.
The engine range consists of two petrol engines and one diesel unit; a 130hp 1.6-litre petrol mated to a six-speed manual, a 145hp 1.8-litre petrol unit offered only with a CVT gearbox and a 109hp 1.6-litre diesel with a six-speed manual.
The five-seat models start at £17,770 while the seven-seat Verso is priced from £18,300. The Trend Plus model costs from £24,650.
