The first crossover in Aston Martin’s history is a certainty now, but it remains to be seen where the automaker will build it. At the moment, the United States appears to be the favorite location for a new plant.

What’s also unknown is whether Aston Martin will retain the two-door design of the DBX study or modify it in order to make it more practical.

The latter variant appears to be more likely, as Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer pointed out at the Geneva Motor Show that the DBX is “not a production-ready sports GT car.”

What this means is the DBX will undergo some changes before getting into production. While a shooting-brake body style would look sweet, Photoshop manipulator Theophilus Chin believes the DBX could take the shape of a SUV-coupe like the BMW X6.

This means two extra doors will be added for rear passengers, with the wheelbase likely to increase in the process. Thoughts?
