You might not want to read this if you were one of the first adopters of Audi’s Q3 in the States. Audi announced pricing and availability of the facelifted model less than nine months after it went on sale in the US last fall.
The 2016MY Q3’s makeover is on the light side with a more imposing 3D-effect single frame grille, reprofiled bumpers, new LED daytime running lights (full LED headlamps on the Prestige trim), LED tail lamp clusters with scrolling indicators, and fresh designs for the alloy wheels on the outside.
On the inside, there are new seats, steering wheel and colors, along with Alu-optic MMI controls, a new cargo cover, and front and rear parking sensors with a rearview camera that are now standard across the range.
There’s only one engine available for the Q3 in the States, the 200-horsepower 2.0-liter TSI gasoline unit paired to a standard six-speed Tiptronic automatic, in either front or all-wheel drive (quattro) set-ups.
Prices kick off at $33,700 excluding a $925 (*) destination fee.
