Looks like June 24 will be a busy day for automotive enthusiasts, as besides Alfa Romeo and its new Giulia sports sedan, Chevrolet will also debut its next Camaro Convertible.
GM made the announcement through a video teaser that shows a man pressing a button and releasing the sixth generation Camaro’s top.
The clip’s description reads:
“Objects in motion should stay in motion, especially when dropping the top. There’s only one button between you and the sky. The most innovative Camaro Convertible ever will soon reveal all its secrets. Stay tuned. It all goes down 6/24/15.”
We’re not entirely sure what Chevy means by “most innovative Camaro Convertible ever”, but if you’re mind went where we think it went, we haven’t seen or heard anything about a retractable hardtop…
The open top version of the sixth-gen Camaro will share the same Alpha architecture and initial trio of engines as the coupe, including a 275hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four; a 335hp 3.6-liter V6 and a LT1 6.2-liter V8 with 455hp.
