Alongside the VW Sharan and the Seat Alhambra, the Ford Galaxy is one of the few remaining big traditional MPVs in Europe. There’s the Renault Espace, of course, but the segment’s leader has migrated towards the crossover segment with its latest generation.
Ford continues on the same path though and wants to convince us of the Galaxy’s qualities in a new video that gives a detailed presentation of the vehicle. Ulrich Koesters, chief program engineer for the new Ford Galaxy, presents the highlights of the MPV.
Among the technologies mentioned there’s Ford’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive System (a first for the Galaxy) which can send up to 100 percent of engine torque to the front or rear wheels.
