We didn’t have to wait too long for renderings based on the all-new Opel Astra: the first one has already appeared and it speculates what the sedan body style will look like.
Photoshop expert X-Tomi has added a boot to the Astra hatchback and he kept the floating design of the C-pillar, with minor adjustments. While the result doesn’t look bad, I don’t think Opel will go with this solution, as it makes the rear quarter panel look too tall and massive.
A rear view rendering would have been very useful, but I suspect it won’t be long until a Photoshop manipulator produces one.
As its predecessor, the upcoming Opel Astra Sedan will be mainly aimed at eastern European markets, Russia and Turkey, although some western European countries may also get it.
