The bottom line about it is that, it’s lighter, faster and more powerful, while at the same time retaining a highly spacious interior, all finished off with excellent quality fittings and accoutrements.
For me personally it’s more appealing than the predecessor mainly because of the way the new one looks. I found the previous Q7 to be one of the least attractive luxury SUVs on the market, even if it had one of, if not the, best interior in the class, strong performance and… the best in-built ashtrays I’ve seen south of a Rolls Royce.
