If Bentley do decide to go with a 4-door coupe as their next model (aside from the Bentayga), we doubt anybody would complain if it would look anything like this rendering.
In case you’re wondering, if Bentley need such a car, the answer is both yes and no. From a prestige point of view, they could get by just fine with their current model line-up for another…who knows how many more years.
But if you’re looking to have better sales and not just reach more customers but also develop new rivalries (which is always good for making more money), challenging the likes of the Porsche Panamera or the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Audi A7 and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe might be a great idea.
A few months ago we saw this interesting 4-door Bentley coupe rendering, based on the Buick Avenir concept (believe it or not). The car looked good enough but not as good as this one right here, inspired by the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept.
It’s not only more dynamic and stylish, but also more elegant overall, especially with those broad “shoulders”. The rear door design however does seem a bit too…improvised – still, maybe someday we’ll get to see something like that in production form.
Bottom line, a real-life four door coupe with a Bentley badge would automatically become the company’s most affordable model, which would boost their sales as well as their reputation.
And knowing that we’re only a few years away from seeing the real thing is pretty exciting.
