Whether or not this guy is showing off, having fun or endangering himself and the parked cars around him, let’s just call this video for what it is..cool.
Those people in the intersection were definitely impressed by the short drift and they should be. It was clearly a well controlled, quick throttle-action type of maneuver and the guy behind the wheel surely knew what he was doing.
And yes, that street does look pretty narrow but he gets on the power even before he exists the corner, which leads to the rear end sticking out while the car was still in its own lane.
Other than that, well, three things we’d like to touch on.
First, black is an absolutely perfect color for a LaFerrari. In fact, it suits it much batter than it does a McLaren P1 or a Porsche 918 Spyder. The 918 actually looks a bit uninspiring on black.
Second, we can’t wait for the day when optical image stabilization becomes a “standard feature” on all filming equipment, including smartphones.
And last but not least, the noise of that V12 engine getting revved upwards of 9,000rpm is just music to our ears. That thing should win a Grammy.
