Another supercar pushed out of its comfort zone; how deliciously evil.

Speaking of evil, this Countach appears demonized. In fact, while it doesn’t look or move as a modern-day supercar, it borders on the uncanny valley and that just makes it alien.

Gandini’s design seems to be immortal, as the car still looks amazing after all these years. Granted, it’s not the original and pure “Periscopio” Countach, but it’s a sinister looking beast. The black-on-black paint scheme nullifies the body’s details, but it offers an overall menacing look.

As its visuals cues may be interesting to some, I’m actually more focused on its handling characteristics. Who ever thought a Countach could slide around and let its tail come loose? I, for one, never imagined it.

Back in the day, few had the nerve to antagonize a V12 Lambo, especially a Countach. It was, and still is, a car with a stock heavy clutch, which requires two hands to put it in any gear – as Clarkson stated. Still, there it is sliding around the cones, making a beautiful V12 sound.

The video description states that this particular example is awaiting an 800 HP Twin-Turbo setup, which will make it more sinister. Darth Vader while spooling and lifting off the throttle? Well, at least it looks like something Vader would drive. A haunted Darth Vader, to say the least.
