Generally, fans of American muscle cars wouldn’t take kindly to somebody combining the looks of the Chevrolet Camaro with the front end of a Dodge Challenger and the rear of a Ford Mustang.
Looking at this rendering though, we can’t help but feel that it looks just like any other muscle car – in a way. You can see that most of the body belongs to the Camaro, while the front end resembles the Challenger.
The Mustang rear is obvious as well but we can’t help shake the feeling that this car isn’t weird at all. Maybe it’s because the Mustang and the Camaro have similar shapes and sizes which makes it easy to take a few features from one and draw them on the other.
Looking at it from the front, it almost seems to be a more compact Challenger. Nothing wrong with that, right? Checking it out from behind, it’s instantly recognizable as a Mustang, and surely nobody has a problem with that.
So yes, this rendering is just a “mind trick”. It will never ever (x100 ever) see the light of day (unless somebody builds it as a body kit on purpose), so we suggest you enjoy it as a visual exercise and nothing more.
Having said that, we wouldn’t mind seeing other combinations.. such as: Camaro front on Mustang body with Challenger rear.
