Adding to the long list of Mercedes-Benz leaks these days, is a print-screen of what’s said to be a flyer for the facelifted 2016 A45 AMG hatch.
If real, then the cosmetic updates on the front end of the hottest A-Class are even less obvious than on the regular five-door versions, as the only visible change is the revised bumper with a different lower opening and additional canards.
There could also be some minor tweaks to the shape of the grille and lights, but we’re not sure from this angle.
While we’ve already heard Mercedes-AMG officials say that they want to boost the A45 AMG, the poster of the ad goes into specifics saying that the facelifted model’s base 2.0-liter turbo engine will deliver 381PS (376hp), up from 355hp (360PS), and that the Germans will also introduce an ‘S’ version with 400PS (395hp).
From earlier spy shots, we know that the entire A-Class range that will likely debut in Frankfurt this fall will get a refreshed interior with a twin-dial instrument binnacle, new steering wheel and updated controls on the center console.
