When Porsche announced the new Black Edition versions of the 911 series and the Boxster last month, they cut us short on imagery releasing only a single photo, but now, we have the full set.
Offering a murdered-out look, the special edition models add to a gazillion choices that Porsche buyers already have.
The package is available on the Coupe and Convertible iterations of the RWD 911 Carrera and AWD 911 Carrera 4, as well as the Boxster roadster, with US pricing starting from $88,800 for the former and at $59,100 for the latter.
What you get with the Black Edition is a black color scheme for both the exterior and interior of the cars, together with 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels for the 911 and 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels for the Boxster, as well as an assortment of otherwise optional equipment fitted as standard.
These extras include the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, automatically dimming rear-view mirrors, rain sensor, cruise control, and Sport Design steering wheel, along with certain model-specific additions such as LED headlights with PDLS+ and Bose surround system for the 911 and two-zone air conditioning and heated seats plus a better audio for the Boxster.
