The following video proves that the passion for cars knows no boundaries, not even when it comes to species.
At this year’s Kitzbühel Alps Rallye 2015, a horse fell in love with a VW Type 4/411 and expressed its feelings for the red classic car by licking it clean. Either that or maybe the car just tasted good.
The video was uploaded on VW’s YouTube channel under the funny title “Kitzbühel car polishing.” Nearly 200 vintage cars participated in the Kitzbühel Alps Rallye this year and about a third of them were from VW Group brands. 22 of the cars rolled directly from factory museums.
Designed by Pininfarina, the VW Type 4/411 was a mid-sized model built from 1968 to 1972 as a two-door/four-door sedan and as a two-door station wagon. At the time, the 411 was VW’s largest passenger vehicle and featured the company’s largest engine, an air-cooled 1.7-liter four-cylinder boxer unit mounted at the rear.
