Hey! Look over there; it’s a 2016 Shelby GT350!
Even if it was photographed on the grass by redditor Dripp.E , this animal isn’t a herbivore. It might look tamed, but don’t let the color mislead you by masking its aggressive details: The car is a track-focused mean machine.
Mind you, with a subtle paint-schemem the GT350 could pass unnoticed to the untrained eye, but a connoisseur will easily spot its unique details and point it out from a crowd – hence the photo.
There’s no doubt this example is a pre-production test build vehicle and that’s one of the reasons it’s keeping a low profile. Knowing that, I shouldn’t really comment on the aesthetics, but the GT350 does look more appealing in the official photos. Black on black just doesn’t look the part anymore, does it?
Sure, with a contrasting color complemented by darken accents, the final product will look outstanding and with only 137 examples to be offered in the 2015 spec, the GT350 will be a pretty rare sight; at least for now. Its 19-inch carbon fiber rims seem a bit small, though; Is it just me?
Anyway, more alluring than the 526hp, naturally aspirated V8, will be the Shelby’s price tag. Starting at $47,870…
H/T to Bold Ride!
