Electronic Arts created a lot of hype by merely announcing they were reviving the Need for Speed Underground spirit in their next installment of the franchise. Now we get our first proper, detailed look at the game via a new trailer and E3 gameplay video.
The trailer is obviously an extension of the teaser we first posted announcing the game, but the more interesting of the two videos posted below is the second one.
It’s the official EA speech at E3 2015, and the first game they show off is Need for Speed. They also include a bit of gameplay and some additional information in too, so if you’re dying to know all of the juicy details, that’s the one you want to watch.
As for the game itself, a preliminary impression does confirm its tie-in with Underground, as it features a very similar atmosphere. The graphics look great, maybe a bit too dark (although that could just be down to the movie quality / compression) and the customization should be too.
They’re promising unseen levels of customization; we’d honestly just like to see what was already in Underground 1 and 2, but maybe more diversity in placement of parts and their sizes.
