SpeedVegas is the name of a just-announced racetrack construction project in Las Vegas. The track will be built 10 minutes away from one of LV’s most important landmarks: the welcome sign, somewhere on South Las Vegas Boulevard (basically an empty stretch of road parallel to the freeway to the south of the city).
Aaron Fessler is the CEO and co-founder of the project and he says the vision behind it was to “develop an experience that most have only dreamt of. Thanks to the overwhelming support of Las Vegas, that vision is now realized as SpeedVegas.”
The layout is “inspired by F1 racetracks with rising elevation changes, sweeping turns and a straightaway that compares to the world’s top circuits. The masterfully designed course will be fully lit allowing for evening experiences and events.”
It’s also going to feature a venue hall and also allow anybody to take to the track in a selection of sports- and supercars.
