The Renault Sandero RS is promising to be a fun little warm hatch that might just sell really well. I mean RenaultSport is quite a solid performance brand and it putting its name on car has in recent years produced some of the best driving FWD experiences for any kind of money.
Honda is probably officially going to overtake the Megane RS as the king hardcore hot hatch, but do you think Renault will just sit around and do nothing? No, and we have fair reason to confidently say they’ll have a matching response – an all-new Megane is coming next year, don’t forget…
Back to the Sandero RS, Renault recently uploaded a video of its junior hot hatch, giving us a better look at what it will be like on track.
We still can’t make out what the engine is. Some say it’s a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter, which would be awesome if the numbers 172 and 182 mean anything to you… Turbo power would obviously be okay too, and in the video posted below it sounds that way too – it’s similar to what the bigger RS models now sound like.
