Our spy shooters came across a partially covered prototype of the five-door Hyundai i20 in Germany.
So, what’s strange about that, you ask? Well, the thing is that, the five-door version of the i20 was presented less than a year ago at the Paris Auto Show in October – the UK, for example, only just got the car in January of 2015.
That said, right now, we’re not exactly sure what Hyundai is trying to hide behind the camouflaged front end other than a slightly different grille. It could be anything from a minor revision to match the fascia design to the three-door i20 that made its debut at the Geneva show in March, to a more economical edition with aerodynamic upgrades.
For what it’s worth, our spies mentioned that they noticed the interior was also covered up. We’ll keep an eye out on any news and update you when we learn more.
