If you ever craved for one of Hennessey’s wackiest creations, one rare example of the 1244hp Venom GT is heading to an auction.

The specific car is one of 20 produced in 2014 and according to the auctioneer, this is the first time a Venom GT as new as this one goes for sale in an auction.

It’s the only white example in the United States, and has 745 miles only on the odometer. Constantine & Pletcher auctions have given it a conservative estimate between $700,000 and $900,000 with the event taking place at June 28 in Cheswick.

The Venom GT is one of the fastest ways to drive yourself on our planet’s surface, being propelled by a twin-turbo 7.0-litre V8. It still holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest 0-300km/h time after achieving a 13.63 seconds while top speed is a verified 270.49mph with Hennessey saying it would do 278mph if it finds a big enough straight.

The other petrol-only hypercar, the 1340hp Koenigsegg One:1 has unofficially beaten its record but as far as manual monsters go, this is perhaps the scariest three-pedal car the planet has ever seen, and probably the last too.

H/T to TTAC!
