Believe it or not, making exterior modifications to a Porsche 911 is extremely difficult. If you’re not careful, you end up with something that no longer looks iconic.
This is why so many 911 exterior kits aren’t made up of too many new parts. You can do something to the spoilers, the wing, the wheels, a few other bits and you’re finished. Any more than that and Porsche purists are going to look at your funny.
However, TopCar found a way to make this 911 Turbo S look a lot more aggressive without ruining its original appearance. This car is called the Stinger GTR and it features new front & rear bumpers, side skirts, new bonnet, and modified air intakes and scoops.
We don’t care what you’re driving. Heck, you could be driving the Novitec Torado or the Mansory Carbonado and odds are you’re still going to admire this 911 for how menacing it looks.
As for the wheels, they are simply spectacular. We’re talking about a set of ADV5 MV2 SL wheels, measuring 21×9 in the front and 21×11.5 at the rear.
Overall, this is by far one of the best looking if not the best looking custom Porsche 911 you’ll find. It even looks more aggressive than the Techart version – and that is one seriously mean 911 Aero Kit!
One particularly cool touch is the fact that it says “STINGER” on the back. That lets you know that somebody went through the trouble of creating a whole new identify for it and didn’t just glue on a few custom bits from some random tuning company.
The Stinger GTR kit will cost you €34,800 but that doesn’t include all the optional extras such as the installation, paint, logos, exhaust tips and so on. In terms of performance, you get an extra 60 HP and 130 Nm (95 lb-ft) of peak torque – which should definitely help the car with its mid-range pulling power, not to mention with hitting the 0-62 mph (100 km/h) mark in under 3 seconds.
