What were the Chrysler group’s – err…sorry, Fiat-Chrysler Automobile’s SRT engineers doing in the mountains of Colorado last month?
A few days ago, we shared pictures of the facelifted 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT8 undergoing testing in the same area (no, it’s not returning to the US), but the HEMI V8 model wasn’t alone, as our most renowned reader-turned-spy shooter, Brett Borgard, scooped a whole group of SRT models.
There were Jeep Grand Cherokee SRTs, a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, Dodge Challenger 392 SRT and SRT Hellcats, as well as a Viper. The cars weren’t camouflaged, but most seem to have been carrying testing equipment inside.
Do take a closer look at the pictures in our gallery after the break and tell us if you see anything different about the cars, and/or speculate on what SRT might be preparing.
Thanks to Brett for the shots!
