I’ve seen many cars with outrageous paint-schemes, but this BMW X6 is on a whole different level.
The artwork of Rene Turrek – a German graffiti artist – the paint-job is a remarkable demonstration on what can be done with a little pigment and a lot of imagination.
Looking like a regular custom-blue X6, the car transforms instantly when it gets in contact with warm water. It appears that the “motif” beneath its blue cloak is none other than “The Incredible Hulk”. Yeah, I get it, the X6 is Bruce Banner and beneath its… ahem, beautiful, graceful, delicate and refined looks lies the green beast, which emerges only when it gets angry. Or warm, apparently.
I’m kidding; the BMW X6 isn’t beautiful, graceful, delicate and refined, nor is Bruce Banner.
Anyway, a thermochromic paint was most likely used, the blue layer being applied after the Hulk artwork was completed. Theoretically, the green dye should resurface even at body temperature – when you touch the car’s body.
But enough chit-chat. The video is pure awe and I’ll let you watch it now without any disturbance.
