Just like with all the other custom interiors we’ve seen recently from Carlex Design, sitting behind the wheel of this C6 Vette should be a terrific experience.
The two most recent designs that come to mind are of that V8-powered BMW Z4 we saw last month and that ‘Kuzaj Sport’ Porsche Macan cabin that we were definitely drooling over.
And it’s obvious that Carlex has no problem taking older models and customizing their interiors so that they not only look unique, but also breathtaking.
Even though the C6 Corvette hasn’t even begun aging properly, its interior is nowhere near as well-made as the one you’d find in the C7 model – which makes what Carlex did to it even more impressive.
When working on this particular car, the designers drew inspiration from the yellow exterior and started to think about ways in which to mix black Alcantara with yellow accents (detailed stitching). You don’t need us to tell you that they did an amazing job, right? You can pretty much see it for yourselves.
Aside from the custom interior, this yellow Vette also packs 1,100 HP under that long bonnet, which should help its owner win plenty of “battles” during various drag racing events – though this is more of a stylish car than what you’d normally find at the drag strip.
One thing we don’t get is why they’d go for that particular front spoiler. It kind of makes it look less like a Corvette and more like an old Dodge Viper.
