The clash of the titans seems an appropriate description for this video.
Here we have two cars that together develop an outstanding 1,600 Hp output figure. Both are AWD, both roll on approximately 20 pounds of boost (1.37 bar) and both are brutal.
The Oldsmobile Cutlass broke the internet with a couple of videos showcasing its burnout skills and how to destroy a set of tires, not too long ago (check out the video below). It has a 6.6-litre F1-A Procharged LS2 engine and the powertrain is composed of parts put together from an Oldsmobile Bravada and a Chevy Trailblazer SS. This translates into 800 horses delivered to all four wheels.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee boasts a 392 cu (6.4-liters) Hemi V8, with an identical F1-A Procharger, delivering an equivalent power output of 800 horses to all four corners. But according to the video description, the big SUV is 1000 lbs (453 Kg) heavier than the Olds.
Knowing all this, it’s time to place your wagers. Which motorized beast do you think crosses the finish line first? Mind you, the Cutlass reportedly had a mechanical failure.
And it’s funny how everybody holds a beer in their hands at the end of the video.
