The Italians sure know how to make an impression, with both the new Alfa Romeo Giulia and its launch venue. The Giulia was launched at the opening of a new Alfa museum, exactly 105 years after the company was founded – it was a big occasion.

They even had singer-songwriter Andrea Bocelli perform after company officials had spoken and the car was being driven onto the stage for the first time. However, the highlight of the event were the actual official speeches which you can check out in the videos below.

Fiat group boss Sergio Marchionne explains what the Giulia means to Alfa and how the car came to be. There are also more technical talks too, along with the first actual presentation of the car, by Omni Auto – it’s in Italian but you can enable subtitles to extract some information out of it.
