GA Global Partners is offering all assets and intellectual property of the Saleen S7, S7R and S5S Raptor for sale. Forget Lykan Hypersports and other crazy realizations, because this is your chance to show-off your entrepreneurial skills to your friends by creating your very own car company! Yay!
The seller only provides remaining inventory parts, memorabilia, molds, design and intellectual property related to the cars mentioned above, including everything you’ll need for that one-of-a-kind, never-produced Saleen S5S Raptor prototype.
That means you’ll own and get to build the S7, but you might need a facility, or a plant to conduct the process of actually building the cars.
Furthermore, as the announcement states, the seller isn’t affiliated with Saleen Automotive Inc, which means you can’t use the Saleen brand, badge or other elements attributed to the American car tuner/manufacturer. Which is kind of cool, because then you can come up with your own names for the cars and for the company. Here’s an idea: The “Corsair Nomad Liftmaster S7”. How’s that sound? Or the “This Is Not A Saleen S7 Anymore”. The “Get Out Of The Way Poor Man”.
Anyway, according to Jalopnik, the seller is Hancock Park Associates, a firm that controlled Saleen for a few years back in the mid-2000s.
