Just in case you missed Aston Martin Vulcan’s appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the sports car manufacturer gives you another chance to witness its track-only monster live.
The Aston Martin Vulcan will attend the Blancpain Endurance Series’ 24 Hours of Spa this weekend (July 25) and will show what it’s made of during two flying laps of the world-famous circuit.
The car will be driven by Aston Martin Racing works driver Darren Turner, who has been involved in the design and development of the car from the beginning.
“It was very early days for the car when we first ran it at Goodwood Festival of Speed, but we certainly made a good impression and now we get to show the car in its most natural environment. I’m looking forward to our laps prior to the race and then being able to watch one of the best 24-hour events on the calendar,” Turner said.
The Aston Martin Vulcan is powered by a 7.0-liter V12 engine developed together with Aston Martin Racing. The unit produces more than 800hp, making the Vulcan capable of reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph (322 km/h).
The Aston Martin Vulcan laps will take place on Saturday July 25 at 14:10 local time, with the 24 Hours of Spa starting at 16:30 local time.
