BMW Confirms Two World Premiere Concepts For Monterey; Could One Of Them Be The M2?

BMW just informed us that its North American division will celebrate its 40 anniversary at the 2015 Monterey Car Week in California on August 13, with the world premiere of two concepts.

The only piece of useful data given to us is a rendering of a futuristic-looking steering wheel with paddle-shifters and a shape that resembles F1 wheels, and which is from one of the two studies.

If you’re asking us what we think BMW will show in California, we’re leaning towards a true concept fitted with the steering wheel pictured here and a pre-production study for the highly anticipated M2 Coupe – don’t forget, the Germans used the same event in 2013 to preview the M4 Coupe with an almost production ready prototype.

We shall find out soon what BMW’s plans are, but for now, you can speculate in the comments.
