The Hellcat twins have been a huge hit for Dodge which today announced that they are more than doubling production for the MY2016 in order to satisfy all its power-hungry customers.
The brand also stated that all ‘unscheduled’ MY2015 orders will be cancelled and that these customers will be offered a discounted MY2016 pricing. Dodge will inform its dealers this August of the exact number of Hellcats they’ll be getting to stop them from taking orders for more cars than their allocated ones.
“To meet this demand, we are more than doubling our SRT Hellcat production for 2016 and simplifying the process to make it easier for our enthusiasts to get their hands on the hottest muscle cars in history. In addition, customers with verified sold orders that weren’t built in the 2015 model year will receive special discounted pricing if they re-order in 2016”, said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO of Dodge and SRT brands.
The MY2016 supercharged 707hp 6.2-litre twins will feature Laguna Leather upholstery, a 8.4in infotainment with navigation, HD radio and five years of Sirius Travel Link and Traffic as standard.
The rest of the tyre-burning, awesome package remains as is.
