While in the US a helicopter may chase you as you’re trying to flee on the highway, in Brazil they don’t mess about and shoot at you from the air. Since the country has highly dangerous and organized crime gangs, the police needs to be prepared – they always pack some sort of automatic rifle or submachine gun and often use them.
In this video posted below, we don’t exactly know why the guy in the white Chevy Colorado is running from the police, but he doesn’t seem to want to stop. Big mistake on his part as it eventually ends up costing him a bullet through his leg/foot.
The car is summoned to stop by following ground forces, but its driver refuses to. The helicopter crew then opens fire on the pickup, and it eventually slowly stops, with its driver clambering out, leaving a pool of blood behind.
We have no information on the aftermath, but we have a fair degree of confidence in saying the driver survived and… Brazilian-style justice was served.
