Honda UK detailed the new Jazz hatchback which will start at £13,495 for the entry-level S model and up to £17,425 for the EX Navi CVT model.
Honda’s clever compact MPV is using a 1.3-litre VTEC engine which produces 101hp and can be mated either to a slick six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic. The new Jazz is based upon the same platform with the new HR-V, helping Honda in increasing the interior space, with a 30mm longer wheelbase and clever solutions like a low-profile fuel tank mounted under the front seats.
The boot now offers best-in-class capacity, measuring 354lt with the seats up and 897lt with them folded completely flat. The base S model comes with things like air-conditioning, cruise control and Honda’s City Brake Active safety system as standard.
Leon Brannan, Head of Cars at Honda UK, commented: “Now in its third generation, Jazz continues to evolve its unique blend of quality, compact exterior dimensions and class-leading interior space. And, with highly competitive list prices from just £13,495 and very affordable PCP packages from £139 per month, we are expecting strong demand for the all-new Jazz.”
