It’s Time Audi Brought Back The RS4 Sedan To Give The BMW M3 A Run For Its Money

The current Audi RS4 is only offered in the Avant body style, but you may remember that the previous generation RS4 B7 was available as an estate, sedan and convertible.

As a matter of fact, it was the only time the RS4 was offered as a sedan, and thanks to Photoshop manipulator X-Tomi we now have an idea of what a new Audi RS4 sedan would look like based on the recently-unveiled A4 generation.

It would look predictably good, thanks to the lowered suspension, big alloy wheels, chrome mirror caps and the sharper aerodynamic package.

Although many people would like the next-generation RS4 to keep the naturally aspirated V8 powerplant, it’s very likely that Audi will follow the downsizing trend by adopting a twin-turbo V6 engine. That would make the Audi RS4 sedan an even more direct competitor for the six-cylinder BMW M3.
