A McLaren P1 gets to play with a BAC Mono on track, giving us the opportunity to see how two of the fastest automobiles of the planet compare in terms of performance.
The video, courtesy of TheSupercarDriver, shows professional racing driver Oliver Webb driving behind a McLaren P1 in the latest 305hp BAC Mono which has already made some noise recently as it set the unofficial fastest time for production cars at Goodwood’s hillclimb, managing 47.9 seconds and beating the Nissan GT-R Nismo’s 49.29sec run.
You can clearly see how the gap between the two of them shrinks during cornering, with the McLaren P1 demonstrating its superiority only on the straights by fully deploying its monstrous hybrid power. This is more of a play than an actual track battle so you can just relax and just enjoy two of the greatest cars ever built having fun on the track.
Both of them are breathtakingly quick, both of them offer racecar-levels of performance but in every other way they are separated by an ocean of differences.
