If we’re not missing something here, it appears that automotive photographer Jordan Shiraki is giving us our first look at the new 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster.
In a posting on his business site, Shiraki wrote:
“President and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann confirmed Lamborghini will be producing the Aventador SV Roadster with a limited production run of just 500 units, 100 less than the Aventador SV coupe. Overall stats will be identical to the coupe with the exception of a mere 110 extra pounds for the roadster configuration. The weight gain is minimum due to the extremely rigid carbon monocoque chassis and the removable carbon roof weighing a scant 13lbs.”
He also provided performance stats with the 750PS (740hp) roadster version of the Aventador Superveloce claimed to hit 60mph (96km/h) in 2.8 seconds (coupe: 0-62mph or 100km/h in 2.8 sec) and topping out at 221mph (356km/h).
Excluding the removable roof and the unpainted carbon fiber spoiler kit with red accents, the SV Roadster looks identical to the coupe model that is reportedly sold out.
