If global warming really is linked to carbon emissions, then it would be high time we started looking at effective ways to clean the air of impurities.
Scientists are noting that 2015 may be the hottest year since recording began, in the mid-to-late 1800s – their readings for the first six months are really irrefutable.
So “how could we remove the carbon dioxide from the air?”, we hear you asking. Well, there’s this company called Carbon Engineering and they’ve devised a way to create walls that can trap the specific molecules.
All other gases that make up the air can just pass through, but carbon dioxide will stick to a chemical solution which coats the interior of the setup. It’s designed to give the air circulating through it as long a path to travel as possible, thus making as much contact with the carbon-trapping goo as possible.
