Unlike the recent magazine shots, this time, there’s no questioning the authenticity of the pictures we have of the facelifted 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser.
Spotted by Instagram user @hamad1two3 somewhere in the Middle East at what could be a Toyota facility, we get to see some of the styling changes made to the Japanese firm’s venerable large SUV.
The Land Cruiser gets a newly designed and more complicated looking face with additional chrome elements that now extend under the restyled headlamps, as well as on the lower grilled and fog lamp surrounds of the re-profiled bumper. The hood design is also new.
At the back, the updated SUV sports new tail lamp graphics, possibly with full LED units, with the chrome bar that bears the model’s name extending under the lights.
We haven’t seen the profile of the Land Cruiser, but don’t expect any drastic changes.
Since the Land Cruiser is a global model, what you see here will be applied to models in other markets as well.
