Here is another awesome Lego creation.
You don’t really need a dedicated set to create something amazing with Legos. In fact, all you need is lots and lots of random pieces to let your imagination run wild.
That’s how this particular Lamborghini Veneno came to be. You might remember the Lego Jaguar XJR-9 we featured recently; as with the Jaguar, the Lamborghini was built by a Lego enthusiast, using regular Lego pieces.
The creator of this magnificent model initially thought that replicating the Veneno’s angular lines with Lego was impossible. Needless to say, he proved himself wrong.
Like any Lego re-creation, the joy of owning the finished model isn’t as wonderful as the joy of actually creating it from scratch. Still, we wouldn’t refuse a nice Veneno Lego set.
Sure it looks a little odd, but that’s to be expected. And that’s the beauty of it, to be honest, because that’s what makes a Lego creation different from a scale model replica. Furthermore, the attention to details is quite exquisite. It has a detailed engine bay, a detailed exterior and a detailed cockpit, in which you can actually spot the Italian flag.
The taillights look awesome as well and the quad-exhaust is spot on.
If you want to see it in the stores and be able to buy it, you can head over to Lego Ideas and vote for it. If the project reaches 10,000 supporters, Lego might get it into production. As for now, this Veneno is actually rarer than the real thing.
