Care to take a look at the upcoming Jaguar F-type SVR rolling up and down the Nurburgring?
Well, you can’t see much, because the automobile is camouflaged, but it is the real deal. You can in fact distinguish some unique design cues, like the big air vents on the front bumper and the fixed rear spoiler (the regular F-type Jags have an active rear wing which deploy at a certain speed).
The sound is amazing, but what can you expect from a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 believed to develop somewhere around 600 horses?
Unlike its lesser siblings, the SVR model has an unusual rear diffuser. In fact, the whole aero package reminds me of the F-type Project 7. And if the finished product will look anything like that one, then there’s no denying that the upcoming Jag will be one of the coolest British sports cars up to date.
Oh, did I mentioned the 600 horses will be put on the asphalt through an 8 speed auto gearbox and an (reportedly) AWD system? “Beware of cat” – is what Jaguar will have to hang on the front entrance at the factory.
