The current V-Class has been on sale since 2014, bringing with it a more elegant and dynamic look, as well as a much more luxurious interior than before.
Vath however is taking the “V” over and beyond the call of duty, by installing 20″ wheels, a sporty body kit, lowering the ride height and raising the power output to 225 PS (165 kW) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque.
The stock version (V 250 BlueTEC) was good for 190 PS and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft), and it could hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.1 seconds. Safe to say that the Vath V-Class will manage that in under 9 seconds, which technically makes it an “8 second” Van…sprint-wise.
The 20″ wheels we mentioned earlier are fitted with Bridgestone tires measuring 265/35/R20, costing €2,975, while the chip tuning box is €1,011.
Inside, there’s also a TV (worth €224), which kind of means that it can’t be particularly huge – which is what you always want when it comes to TVs. Yes, even inside your van.
Overall, this is a great looking family hauler. It should be perfect for driving long distances while carrying a bunch of people in excellent comfort.
Also, its 225PS and 500 Nm of torque should prove sufficient when overtaking, as well as during high-speed cruising.
