Vitesse | AuDessus is the name of a new US-based boutique carbon fiber atelier which manufactures bespoke automotive pieces.
The company specializes in handcrafted bespoke carbon fiber exteriors, interiors, components and monocoques for some of the world’s most exclusive sports cars. Vitesse | AuDessus produces one-off parts for models like the Bugatti Veyron, McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Aventador and many others.
“We had a challenge: how do we make something that is already incredibly rare, sexy and exciting even rarer, sexier and even more exciting? The answer? We adorn every inch of it in handcrafted carbon fiber,” says Vitesse | AuDessus CEO Stefany Sanchez.
You can check out some of their projects in the photo gallery, which includes full carbon fiber bodies for the Ferrari 458 Italia, LaFerrari and Lamborghini Aventador. The company says carbon fiber exteriors typically cost from $100,000 to $200,000. However, bespoke pieces for Bugatti Veyron, Mclaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and Ferrari Enzo “may carry a premium over that.”
Vitesse | AuDessus says it encourages its customers to become engaged in the planning and creative process, offering them a wide selection of weaves, colors and final finishes to choose from. Owners are given the latest 3D renderings and physical samples to help them decide on a final version, which may or may not conform with OEM standards.
