It’s hard enough getting the hardcore road-legal versions together, not to mention the track-day specials, but at Goodwood, everything is possible. Three generations of XX Program cars aligned and committed to raise some hell.
Right before the automobiles went for a run on the course, they offered a V12 concerto for the unsuspecting bystanders. Legend has it that the spectators can’t hear properly to this day. Joking aside, the loudest Ferrari wasn’t the one everybody assumed it will be.
Knowing the FXX-K’s capabilities, you – like everyone else – might expect it to be a superlative in every aspect, but actually, it gets stomped by the FXX brutal and maniacal 12 cylinder howl. In fact, the FXX is so loud and ferocious that it actually fully covers the scream produced by the 599 XX.
Even the FXX-K can’t hold its own, the low rumble sound making it very clinical and tamed.
