Ford is really investing in promoting the new GT, the Blue Oval model that has been featured in so many official and unofficial videos that we can’t even remember them all.
None of the latter ones shed any new light on the matter, simply rephrasing and interpreting the released technical specs.
This video by X-Car looks at the GT in a more historic context, showing the evolution from the original 1960s racing car to the latest road model arriving next year. It’s still a static preview at heart, though, and we are given a nice close-up look at some of the car’s aerodynamic elements.
It does in no way answer our questions but we do like that we’re seeing more of it. What it manages to achieve is to add to the hype bubble created around the car, just like Ford pulled its strings to achieve for the new Focus RS (also a very aggressively promoted car).
